Make your baby talk

My experience with my daughter (8 months now) says that singing songs and saying short stories with a lot of rhymic words (e.g. I climbed tap-tap-tap-tap and drink water glup-glup-glup-glup….) to the child helps a lot to simulate her mind to speak. Children likes to hear you saying the tones of birds and animals (e.g. a cat says Miaow-Miaow, horse walks Tak-Bak-Tak-Bak….) The child starts responding to the audio of rhymes and prayers she used to hear from early stage of life. After all we perceive our world by watching-listening to the surroundings and express ourselves by language the most; also this is the first thing we teach to the child.

Responding to the babbling of the child with a warm smile and few slow n clear words inspires the child to speak-talk more. I suggest to make a baby learn the mother tongue first and do not use baby talks in conversations with her in order to make your child learn speaking clear form the first attempt itself. In all, at first the child learns all from the family hence, I believe that being critical with own self is the most important aspect of parenthood.
Wish you all a cheerful parenting…..!
